I’ve finished the old testament a few months ago. Today I finished the new testament. It’s hard for me to tell which one is better but the new one definitely influenced today’s society the most. Also, there are a few parallels to the psychology books that I’ve read over the past half year. Like the old testament, I’ll likely read it a second time while taking notes.
Personally I see parallels to:
- As a man thinketh by James Allen
- The Power of your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy
- Maybe “Man’s search for meaning” by Viktor E. Frankl but I have to reevaluate that.
It’s packed with so much information between historical data that its hard to digest it just by listing to it with an audio book.
